How it works
Three steps to your song
Lyrics and music are made right here on the page, in two sound directions. You can preview both in full before you pay; a watermark runs over them. Watch it happen or close the page: as soon as the song is ready, we send you an email.
Name and language
Tell us who it is for and which language to sing in. One small personal story is optional.
Lyrics and music are made
From your details Songmania writes the lyrics and sets them to music twice, in two sound directions. You get to hear both right here.
Buy it and keep it
If you like what you hear, you buy one version or both. The purchase takes the watermark off: a clean MP3 to download and give away.
Her name is in the chorus
Not buried in verse two. In the line everybody joins in on.The one thing only she does
Tell us she sings too loudly on Sundays or is never on time. That's what becomes a verse.Done before the candles are lit

Common questions
What you may want to know first
- Does it handle unusual names?
- Yes. Names are used exactly as you type them, never translated or shortened.
- Can it mark a milestone birthday?
- Put "turning 60" in the free text field and it shows up in the song. Leave it out and age is never mentioned.
- Can I make several versions?
- Yes, and it's worth it. Two runs with identical details give you two different songs.
- Can I play it at the party?
- That's the point. Download it and take it along on your phone.
